Current Condition of Roads in Armenia as of 21:00: Some Sections Impassable
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of November 30, at 20:54, roads across Armenia are mostly passable. The Vardenyats Pass (from the Gegharkunik province) is closed for trucks with trailers, and difficult to pass for other vehicles.
Snowfall is observed in the Vardenyats Pass, in the Aparan region of Aragatsotn province, in the "Zanger" section of Sisian in Syunik province, and in the city of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor province.
According to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
Construction works are being carried out on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, which has resulted in the closure of the road section for trucks. An alternative route has been established: Dilijan-Novemberyan-Bagratashen.
