Two Young Men Arrested for Beating and Robbing Elderly Woman

On October 20, at 07:10, the Mush police department received a report from a 70-year-old resident of Gyumri, stating that on the same day around 4 AM, two masked individuals broke into her apartment using a modified key. They assaulted her, causing injuries, and subsequently stole 40,000 drams and a gold ring from one cabinet in the living room and another gold ring from another cabinet. They also stole 15,000 drams from a handbag left in the bedroom before fleeing the scene.

The citizen was taken to the hospital. An investigation was launched.

On November 28, as a result of joint operational-search and investigative measures conducted by various police units, it was established that the armed robbery against the citizen was committed by two residents of Gyumri, aged 28 and 26. They have since been arrested.

Measures are being taken to recover the stolen items. The investigation is ongoing.
