Sisian Police Uncover Former School Principal's Misconduct

The Siuni Regional Police Department's Sisian division has gathered evidence based on operational data indicating that the principal of the Uitz village secondary school committed irregularities.

According to currently available information from the investigation, the principal, leveraging their official position, embezzled the entire salaries of certain employees from 2007 to 2017, while only paying partial amounts to those who actually performed the work. This embezzlement amounts to a significant sum of over 1 million 680 thousand drams.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Sisian Police Department regarding the incident, which has been forwarded to the investigating authorities for further examination. The circumstances are still under investigation.
