Denial: Regarding the Publication Titled ‘Azerbaijani Journalists’ Excursion at the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ in the ‘Past’ Newspaper
On November 26 of this year, the ‘Past’ newspaper published an article titled ‘Azerbaijani Journalists’ Excursion at the Ministry of Emergency Situations,’ which contains misleading information.
The newspaper writes: ‘According to the information we have received, the authorities of the Republic of Armenia granted access to two Azerbaijani journalists to enter the Ministry of Emergency Situations and familiarize themselves with the work of the crisis management center operating within the ministry… Moreover, according to the newspaper’s source, they also entered the backup crisis management center located within the Ministry of Emergency Situations building.’
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. We inform you that, yes, the journalists were present at the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations; they only entered the 911 service hall and left without asking any questions or making comments. The journalists did not enter the backup management center, which is located in a different area.
