Mercedes Crashes into Uninstalled High-Voltage Electric Pole; Driver Dies on Site
Today, November 24, a tragic car accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 22:30, the driver of a Mercedes vehicle with license plate 31 SL 846 lost control of the car under unknown circumstances on the Goris-Stepanakert highway, in the administrative area of K'arashen village, and crashed into an uninstalled high-voltage electric pole.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver died on site. His body was retrieved from the vehicle by firefighters and rescuers from the Syunik Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who used special equipment. As per G. Shamshyan's reports, the deceased was a resident of the village of Tegh.
