Opposition activist Vardan Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Vardanik says that Mel had no place in Gyumri, that’s why he left. I had the opportunity to walk in Gyumri with Mel and did not see a single negative attitude, even from the most ‘traditional’ masses. In the area called Chuloshni, there was a small shop, which was the longest-running store in Gyumri. We went to that shop to buy beer at night in Gyumri, and apart from greetings, saw nothing else.
