Russian MP Paints Black Plaque Dedicated to Garegin Nzhdeh
Aleksey Vinogradov, a member of the city council in Armavir, Krasnodar region, has painted black the plaque dedicated to Garegin Nzhdeh. The plaque is located on the grounds of an Armenian church. This was reported by the information platform 'Krasnaya Vesna'.
According to Vinogradov, the deadline was up on November 11, and the city authorities had promised to dismantle the plaque but failed to do so. He decided to 'resolve the issue independently.' The article notes that Vinogradov, unable to come to terms with the situation, took an active civic stance and painted the plaque black.
