Kotayk Police Uncover Stabbing Incident with Fresh Leads

On November 10, the Kotayk police received a call from the Abovyan Medical Center reporting that a 35-year-old man had been admitted with stab wounds and internal bleeding. An operational group arrived at the hospital and investigated the circumstances under which the man had sustained his injuries. Soon, the identity of the suspect also became known.

While the Kotayk police were carrying out measures to locate the suspect, they conducted explanatory work among the public. As a result, the next day, a 29-year-old resident of Abovyan voluntarily presented himself at the police station. Subsequent actions led to the discovery of the knife used in the crime. A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is underway.
