Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: 17-Year-Old Student Stabs 51-Year-Old Man
The police have uncovered a stabbing incident that occurred on November 11 in the Shengavit administrative district.
According to Shamshyan.com, at around 16:40, the police station in Shengavit received a report from the Erebuni Medical Center indicating that a man was brought in with "stab wounds to the right and left sides of the chest and neck."
The Shengavit police determined that the victim, a 51-year-old man identified as A.S., is a resident of the Nor Kharberd Agricultural Company. He was stabbed by an unidentified person around 16:00 on Bagratuniats Street.
Hours later, the Shengavit police managed to identify the suspect. Following explanatory work, 17-year-old M.A., a resident of Yerevan, presented himself to the Shengavit police under suspicion of committing the crime. The police also recovered the knife used in the crime.
Regarding the incident, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Shengavit police. Investigators have ordered forensic and medical examinations.
According to reports, the suspect M.A. is a third-year student at one of the vocational schools in Yerevan, who has been released on the grounds of signature.
