'Zhamanak' newspaper writes that after the dismissal of NSS head Arthur Vanetsyan, the most trusted law enforcement agency for the authorities has become the Special Investigative Service.

The overwhelming majority of criminal cases initiated in the Prosecutor's Office are directed to the Special Investigative Service, while a lesser amount goes to the police. The NSS has lost its previous significance for the authorities.
