Youths Detained in Stepanavan; Drugs Discovered

The Criminal Investigative Department of the Stepanavan Police, acting on received operational data, uncovered a case of illegal drug trafficking.

They detained several youths from the Lori region on Central Street in the village of Yaghdan. During a search of one of the detainees, a substance resembling marijuana was found packaged in paper. According to the detainee, it was a narcotic.

As a result of operational-investigative activities, the police of Stepanavan obtained evidence that the substance was sold to the youth by a 48-year-old man residing in Yaghdan village. This individual was also located and detained.

An examination has been ordered. The circumstances of the case are being clarified.
