Two Citizens Invade Churches and Display Disrespectful Behavior Towards Worshippers
According to Shamshyan.com, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on November 9. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, residents of Sherami Street in Yerevan, 57-year-old Tamela Arzumanyan and Hovhannes Torosyan, entered the churches of St. Zoravor, St. Gregory the Illuminator, and St. Anna, and during the service, openly displayed disrespectful behavior towards the worshippers.
According to the photojournalist's information, they shouted inappropriate expressions inside the church, and reportedly, similar acts were also committed in September and October.
Materials are being prepared in the investigative division of the Central Police Department regarding the incident.
