Six Dead and 26 Injured in Explosions Near Armenian Catholic Church in Kamishli, Mikhtar Hayrapetyan
Member of the National Assembly from the My Step Alliance, Mikhtar Hayrapetyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “Today, several explosions occurred in the city of Kamishli, Syria, the latest one an hour ago near the Armenian Catholic Church.”
According to information received from Syria, six people have died and 26 others have been injured. Reports from Kamishli indicate that there are no ethnic Armenians among the casualties and the injured.
As you know, earlier today, militants killed the pastor of the Armenian Catholic community of Kamishli, Father Hovsep Petoyan, and his father, Abraham Petoyan.
