Neighbor Takes Wallet from 3-Year-Old Child and Steals Part of the Money
On November 10, at 1:50 PM, a resident of Mastara village called the Talin police department and reported that her neighbor had stolen money from her wallet.
The police confirmed that officers dispatched to the scene discovered that the caller had left her wallet near her three-year-old daughter after going shopping in their yard. The wallet was then taken by another neighbor, a 13-year-old girl.
Noticing that 80,000 drams were missing from the wallet, she informed her mother that before she took it, the wallet had been in the neighbor's hands. Criminal investigators took the neighbor in for questioning on suspicion. During a search, she produced four 20,000 dram bills and claimed that she had stolen them from the mentioned wallet.
Investigations are ongoing.
