Individuals Insult Worshippers During Service at Churches in Yerevan
An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on November 9. According to Shamshyan.com, residents of Sherami Street, 57-year-old Tamela Arzumanyan and Hovhannes Torosyan, entered the St. Zoravor, St. Gregory the Illuminator, and St. Anna churches in Yerevan and displayed openly disrespectful behavior towards worshippers during the service.
Reports indicate that they shouted inappropriate expressions inside the church, and similar acts were allegedly committed in September and October of this year as well. The Central Investigation Department of the police is preparing materials regarding the incident. The police are taking necessary measures to identify the individuals involved.
