Violence against women begins here. Enough is enough!

This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page, where he shared a social video about gender-based abortions.

The social video highlights our glorious past and achievements in various fields, and it is noted: “We are also among the leaders in the world for gender-based abortions. In the last 25 years, more than 40 thousand girls have not been born in Armenia. We desire to have boys so much that we give girls’ names to ensure that no more girls are born. It is enough to only speak about our achievements.”

It is noted that every year, 1,300 girls are not born in Armenia.
