VIDEO: Pashinyan on His Secret Assignment

During the recent Q&A session between the National Assembly and the government, Edmon Marukyan, a member of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, directed a question to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Marukyan reminded of reports that the salaries of ministers, deputy ministers, and governors have been raised based on a secret assignment from the Prime Minister.

“I want to discuss the question in the following context: Essentially, this has taken place without Parliament's involvement; the government or any other body cannot raise its own salaries. The second issue I see is the secrecy of this matter—why hasn't the law been brought to Parliament, and why hasn't the scale been revised? Perhaps it's because you've only raised the salaries for these three subjects,” he inquired.
