Turkey Announces Suspension of Operations in Syria

Turkey's "Operation Peace Spring" in Syria has been suspended, announced Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. At the same time, he emphasized that the operation has not concluded, and the army is prepared to "repel terrorists if necessary."

"If terrorists appear somewhere, our armed forces will begin to fight them. We still have weapons, stockpiles, mines, and traps. All of this needs to be cleared. There is still much work to be done. Therefore, we remain on the ground," Çavuşoğlu stated in an interview with Anadolu.
