Live: Protests Continue at Nairi Zaryan-Armen Tigranyan Intersection

There is a tense situation at the Nairi Zaryan-Armen Tigranyan intersection. Residents living at 100/8 Nairi Zaryan Street state that they have never sold their land, yet construction for a multi-apartment building by 'Svetlana Ohanyan' LLC is currently taking place in that area. The municipality has indicated that there is a legal purchase agreement for the land.

It is worth noting that construction began back in 2008. Our correspondent reports that Ani Khachatryan, a member of the city council, is currently present at the scene. She learned about the incident through a live broadcast on Auroranews.am.

Ani Khachatryan has also been trying to clarify with the citizens why they hadn’t reported the issue earlier.
