We Will Manage Somehow: Alen Simonyan on Salary Increases
I have no concerns; I think that the salaries of teachers, military personnel, and employees in other sectors, as well as those in our state institutions and bodies, should be increased.
This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan during a conversation with journalists, addressing the issue of the secret salary increases for ministers announced by the Prime Minister.
In response to a comment about possibly addressing salary increases for deputies as well, Simonyan noted, “I think that if we are to increase salaries in state bodies, it is primarily the salaries of the staff that should be raised; we will manage somehow.”
