VIDEO: Kurds Throw Tomatoes and Stones at Withdrawal of American Troops
Residents of the city of Qamishli in Syria threw stones and tomatoes at American soldiers as they were leaving the city. The video was posted online by the Kurdish Hawar news agency.
The footage shows Kurds accompanying the American military vehicles, throwing stones and vegetables at them. This was a local reaction to U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw troops from northern Syria.
