Clarification on Needles Found in ATMs

The press secretary of the Ministry of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, wrote on her Facebook page: “A user on Facebook shared the following content: ‘The Center for Disease Control reports that needles have begun to appear in ATMs. Please be extremely cautious and careful. Examine all seats on public transport before sitting down, so that you do not accidentally sit on a needle as they may pose a danger.’ I want to clarify that the date of the content is old and has no connection to our country. We have requested several times for the user to remove the misinformation, but for unclear reasons, they continue to spread it.”
