12 Prisons in Syria Left Without Security Personnel Due to Turkish Operations
Due to Turkish operations, 12 prisons in Syria holding foreign militants have been left without security personnel, stated Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu. He said, "This could lead to the so-called reverse migration of terrorists to their historical homeland," while speaking at the plenary session of a forum that kicked off in Beijing.
The minister called on the global community to unite efforts to counter the challenges posed by terrorists, their ideology, and propaganda. He added, "The Russian Ministry of Defense has gained significant experience in this area, which we are ready to share with our partners in Asia and the Pacific region."
