UAZ Goes Off Road on Goris-Tatev Highway, Ends Up in Gorge (Photos)

On October 18, a serious car accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 1:40 PM, 30-year-old Vrej P., a resident of Khot village, was driving a UAZ-469 vehicle with license plate 35 VC 023. While making a turn at the 19th kilometer of the Goris-Tatev highway, the vehicle unexpectedly left the roadway and, rolling several meters, ended up in a gorge.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Vrej P. was taken to the 'Goris' medical center with bodily injuries.
