It's a Very Unusual Letter: Peskov on Trump's Letter
The language of the letter from U.S. President Donald Trump to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ahead of Turkey's military operations in Syria, is not often encountered in the correspondence of state leaders. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“Such language is not often found in correspondence between state leaders. It is a very unusual letter,” Peskov told reporters.
Earlier, Fox News correspondent Trish Regan released a copy of U.S. President Donald Trump’s personal letter in which Trump offers Erdogan a “good deal.” In the letter, Trump urges Erdogan to negotiate with Kurdish General Mazloum Abdi, not try to “look like a good guy,” and “not to be stupid.”
