Body of Woman Found in Collapsed House in Kapan

A two-story residential building has collapsed in Kapan, near the Kajaran base due to a landslide. According to preliminary reports, elderly couples have been trapped inside.

Search operations are currently underway at the site. Bagrat Zakaryan, head of the Syunik Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reported to SHANTNEWS.am that a woman’s body has been found. She was located in the bedroom, on the bed. Search efforts will continue.
