Any sanctions and threats are unacceptable for us, says Cavusoglu
The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has responded to the US sanctions imposed on Turkey due to its military operation ‘Peace Spring’ in Syria, reports ermenihaber.am.
“We see that, under internal pressures, Trump is taking certain steps against our country. Any sanctions and threats are unacceptable for us. We will take the necessary measures against these sanctions and we will respond,” said Çavuşoğlu.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order authorizing the Treasury and State Department to impose sanctions on certain Turkish officials and entities.
