SATM Conducts Regulatory Measures at Artashat Number 5 School and Supplier

The State Food Safety Service (SATM) reports that today at 11:39 AM, based on a notification received from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia, specialists from the SATM's Ararat regional center have visited the Artashat medical center.

It has been revealed that three students from Artashat number 5 school, showing symptoms of food poisoning, were admitted to the hospital, and as of 3:00 PM, this number has reached 23.

SATM inspectors have initiated regulatory actions in the school's cafeteria and found that the children had consumed pizza topped with sausages supplied by Anahit Vardanyan. Samples of the remaining pizza in the school have been collected for laboratory examination.

Although no samples of the pizza were found at the supplier's location, regulatory measures are also being conducted at the supplier's site. Further information on the results of the inspections will be provided.
