Investigative Committee Reports on Poisoned Children

A case of food poisoning has been registered at School No. 5 in Artasat. Naire Harutyunyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee, reports that preliminary data indicates that the children were poisoned by food sold in the school's cafeteria.

Currently, about 19 students have been hospitalized. A criminal case has been initiated at the Ararat Regional Investigative Department under Article 279, part 2, subpart 2 of the RA Criminal Code. Investigators from the Ararat Regional Investigative Department are working at the scene and the hospital.
