Citizen Surrenders Large Quantity of Weapons and Ammunition (Video)
Thanks to joint explanatory work by the police department of Hrazdan and the Kotayk Regional Division of the Police, a case of voluntary surrender of illegally held weapons and ammunition was recorded on October 12 in the Hrazdan police department.
At 12 PM, a 43-year-old resident of the Vanatur neighborhood of Hrazdan brought 400 grams of ammonal explosives, one F-1 grenade, 20 rounds of 7.62mm caliber ammunition, and 135 rounds of 5.45mm caliber ammunition, as well as a magazine for an automatic rifle, to the police. The man stated that he had found the ammunition while renovating the roof of his house.
The items have been packaged and sent for examination. The voluntarily surrendered man has been released.
