Alan Gogbashyan Will Not Assume the Position of His Majesty's Ambassador in Yerevan
Mr. Alan Gogbashyan will not assume the position of His Majesty's Ambassador in Yerevan due to operational circumstances. This was published on the official Facebook page of the British Embassy in Armenia.
“Mr. Gogbashyan will be taking up another position in the diplomatic service. Mr. David Moran has been appointed as the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim at ambassador level, who will serve until a new ambassador is appointed,” the post stated.
Alan Gogbashyan was appointed as the British Ambassador to Armenia as the successor to Judith Farnworth. He was set to commence his duties in September 2019.
