Armenian Side is Very Passive Every Time: Ara Abrahamyan
During the Eurasian Economic Council meeting, many top executives from serious corporations arrived here, and in Armenia, there should be people who talk to them and discuss issues and business projects. This was stated today, October 1, in a conversation with reporters by Ara Abrahamyan, the president of the Union of Armenians in Russia and a businessman.
“We have created an opportunity for communication, but the Armenian side is very passive every time. I don’t know what is happening; people need to meet and talk. There is passivity that is a problem, which we need to raise awareness about,” he noted.
Ara Abrahamyan is convinced that Armenia's transit potential resembles that of the ancient Silk Road, and this potential should be utilized. “To say that we are not developing is not true; there is progress. I am talking about the fact that we are not utilizing the existing potential,” he emphasized.
