We Will Decide Our Actions After the Prime Minister's Statement: Environmentalists and Activists
After the Prime Minister's statement, it will be possible to determine what our actions will be. This was stated today by environmentalist Anna Shahnazaryan during a public discussion at Saryan Park, adding that their struggle against the exploitation of the Amulsar mine is driven by the need to protect people's rights.
Gegham Ohanyan, a member of the "Amulsar Without a Mine" initiative, also noted, "We will engage in active protest, organizing marches and demonstrations. It is very difficult to convey our message to a revolutionary government through active struggle, especially when there are forces in the country that do not want our government to succeed. Over the past 1.5 years, we have done everything possible to avoid this format of struggle. But today, that line has been drawn," he said.
Anna Shahnazaryan pointed out that they have reached a turning point to see whether Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will cross the Rubicon or not. According to her, their future actions will also depend on what statement Nikol Pashinyan will make this evening.
Nevertheless, it was decided that they would meet again tomorrow at 7 PM to discuss their plans.
