Unlawful Pension Payment of 50.9 Million AMD Identified

To ascertain the legality of decisions made by the territorial subdivisions of the Service regarding pension assignments, and to ensure compliance with the legal framework governing the state pension system, necessary measures have been taken. This includes an analysis and monitoring conducted by the Analytical and Monitoring Department.

As a result of the review of pension files conducted up to July 1, 2019, an unlawful payment of 50.9 million AMD has been identified. Efforts are ongoing to recover the excess payments that have not yet been restored, in coordination with a schedule agreed upon with the beneficiaries.
