Swimming Prohibited at Certain Beaches Due to Storm and Strong Underwater Currents in the Black Sea
Due to a storm and strong underwater currents in the Black Sea, rescuers have decided to prohibit swimming at beaches in Adjara, Guria, and Samegrelo. This information was reported by the Press Service of the Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The storm's intensity in the affected areas is rated at 4 on a scale of 5. Red flags have been placed in coastal areas, indicating that entering the water is forbidden.
Rescuers urge people to follow safety rules and to only enter the water after white flags have been installed.
