It’s Not Far Off the Day When the Phrase 'Ladies and Gentlemen Generals' Will Be Heard: Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on his Facebook page: “I believe that today, for the first time during an official event of the Armed Forces of Armenia, the phrase 'Ladies and Gentlemen Officers' was used by the leader of Armenia. I am confident that it’s not far off the day when the phrase 'Ladies and Gentlemen Generals' will also be heard. Just as the role of women was exceptional during the peaceful, velvet, popular revolution of 2018, so too should women play an exceptional role in the creation of a happy, free, and powerful Armenia—ranging from the armed forces to industry, from an independent judicial system to state governance.”
