Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen Highway Closed

The roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable. However, the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen section is closed for trucks and buses.

As of July 1 at 08:15, the Emergency Situations Ministry reports that all other roads in the territory of Armenia are passable.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure’s Road Department, the Stepanavan-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.

Construction Work Underway
Construction work is ongoing on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, which has resulted in the closure of this section for trucks and buses. Alternative routes have been established.
