Nissan X-Trail Overturns on Mayakovski-Zoraghbyur Road; Driver Dies on the Spot

A tragic car accident occurred today, June 30, in the Kotayk region. At approximately 03:10, 29-year-old Gevorg Balayan from Yerevan was driving his Nissan X-Trail on the Mayakovski-Zoraghbyur rural road heading towards Mayakovski village when he veered off the roadway, collided with a concrete barrier, and ended up upside down in the middle of the road.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver, G. Balayan, died on the spot. Rescuers from the Emergency Situations Ministry's 15th firefighting and rescue squad found his body outside the vehicle upon their arrival at the scene.
