This Year, the Variety of Vegetables and Fruits in Soldiers' Diet Will Increase

According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Artur Hovhannisyan, just like in previous years, this year the place of service for conscripts will be selected through a lottery. He stated that among the formats tested so far, this is the most suitable and objective option, and thus it will continue to be used.

Regarding the improvement of food supply quality in the armed forces, he mentioned that this is a continuous process. The novelty this year is that the variety of vegetables and fruits in soldiers' diets will increase. While the tradition of sending so-called 'tuliks' from parents will not be encouraged, it will also not be prohibited. However, he advised parents that certain controls regarding the contents of 'tuliks' will be imposed during the summer months to prevent soldiers from being poisoned by quickly perishable food.
