The Cause of the Plane Crash at Sheremetyevo: Russian Investigative Committee

According to the Russian Investigative Committee, the cause of the crash of the Aeroflot Superjet-100 was insufficient qualifications of the pilots and dispatchers.

"The investigative committee has examined various hypotheses regarding the causes of the incident, including the insufficient qualifications of the pilots, dispatchers, and personnel conducting technical inspections on the aircraft, as well as the breakdown of the aircraft and adverse weather conditions," said Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the committee, as reported by TASS.
