Earthquake in Artsakh

On October 17, at 18:17 local time (14:17 GMT), a magnitude 1.9 earthquake was registered by the seismic protection service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at a depth of 10 km, located at geographic coordinates 40.080° N latitude and 46.240° E longitude, approximately 17 km southeast of the city of Karvachar in the Republic of Artsakh.

The intensity of the tremor at the epicenter was measured at 2-3 points.

The earthquake was felt in the villages of Dadivank, Charektar, and Nor Erkej in the Republic of Artsakh, with an intensity of 2 points.
