Pashinyan's Advice to Zelensky on Building Relations with Putin
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared his insights in an interview with "RBK" on how Ukraine's newly elected leader Vladimir Zelensky should build relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I don't think it will be difficult for him. There are conditions — if you are direct, sincere, without deceit, it won’t be hard. One just needs to communicate honestly and directly," he stated.
Pashinyan emphasized that this advice applies not just when dealing with the Russian president.
"I believe everyone appreciates it when they see that their interlocutor isn’t trying to deceive them in any way or misrepresent something. This approach is a very correct option for all forms of communication. Perhaps it’s not so accepted in diplomacy or international relations, but that’s how I communicate with everyone," the Prime Minister remarked.
