Information Leak from 'My Step' Group: 168 Hours

The newspaper '168 Hours' reports that on Monday evening in the National Assembly, some members of the 'My Step' faction waited to hold a closed meeting in parliament after leaving the staff building, warning each other in advance.

The narrow format of the meeting was determined 'from above' and was carried out through the faction leader Lilit Makunts. Interestingly, Makunts herself was not present at the gathering organized exclusively for men.

According to 168.am, among other issues discussed, there was also a remark sent by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to all members. The order received from the party leader was addressed to everyone.

Pashinyan instructed them not to 'weaken from the recorded successes and to read, read every day, and continually.' The background of this instruction includes several legislative initiatives.

Some members of 'My Step' decided to show initiative and approached the party to seek support for their contemplated reforms and to create legislative proposals. However, their efforts were thwarted at the very first attempts, as the younger parliamentarians had contemplated some ideas, got excited, and had not verified whether those regulations had previously existed during the rule of the previous administrations. To avoid wasting more time, from now on they are obliged to 'not weaken from the recorded successes and read, read every day, and continually read.'

But the most remarkable outcome of this meeting was the ‘lowered’ remark.

Interestingly, the first remark concerned someone who was not present in that 'team' from the beginning. The change in attitude towards the teammate was due to an information leak; they had revealed something accessible to them from the faction, which, to say the least, had a heavy impact on the others. It is reported that the subject in question refers to one of the 'My Step' deputies, who, although not a member of the 'Civil Contract' party, became somewhat influential within the political team after joining during the revolutionary active events. Today, that trusted individual is effectively stripped of the right to narrow-party communications simply because they abused that trust and took the liberty to discuss topics for which such powers were not granted.
