The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports: 'Exactly one month ago, the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia launched a criminal case regarding the publication of preliminary investigation data in the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper. While the investigation is ongoing to determine how testimonies from public figures related to the controversial March 1 case made their way into our hands, we continue to present them in parts. Today, it is the turn of former Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan, who provided detailed testimony in the case.

According to him, 'The task of the Military Police was to ensure the physical safety of the central part of the government building… 100 officers came.'

In response to the investigator's question: 'You mentioned that the issue of involving the army arose. What circumstances led to the need for the army's involvement, and who issued such an order? According to that order, what instructions were given to the army and military police regarding the specific actions to be taken in certain situations?' Former Military Police Chief Gasparyan replied: 'Well, such matters were solved at the level of the President of the country… We were told, 'Keep the building, we have come and kept it… There is a supreme commander.'
