VIDEO: Mikayel Melkumyan Outraged by Deputy Minister Smbat Sayan's Statements
During the discussion of the draft law on amendments and changes to the state pension law, MP Mikayel Melkumyan from the Prosperous Armenia faction was outraged by the statements made by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Smbat Sayan.
The deputy minister presented a draft law in parliament that proposes to set the minimum pension at 25,500 drams. This means that no pension in the country can be lower than this amount.
The deputy minister informed that this initiative will cost the state budget an additional 800 million drams.
