Nothing is being imposed on anyone. It is a free market, and prices fluctuate based on market factors. This was stated by the Minister of Economic Development and Investments, Tigran Khachatryan, during a conversation with reporters after a government meeting, responding to the statement made by the President of Flash LLC, Baghram Beglaryan, that gasoline prices are set to rise soon.

According to him, the Armenian market is an open market, and if international gasoline prices increase, domestic prices will rise as well, and vice versa.

"We do not control the price; the market controls it. The most important thing is that the market determines the price. And we are currently in that situation. The more players that enter the market, the higher the level of competition will be," he said.

In response to the question of whether new players should be expected in the gasoline market, the minister replied positively, noting that discussions are ongoing with foreign investors at present.

"There are untapped opportunities, and there will be new players; I see no restrictions. We have opened a free market, and everyone knows about it," the minister added.
