Prime Minister Pashinyan Reveals Information on Masked Individuals Threatening Him
Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, announced that according to operational data, the identities of the masked individuals who made threats against him have been approximately clarified, and they have not been in Armenia since 2024.
“I believe that we have identified the circle of individuals, roughly. Essentially, those people that we believe are in that video have not been in Armenia since 2024. This is operational information, but we have no proof. We have names and surnames, and efforts have been made to identify them, and at that time, it became clear that they are not in Armenia. Previously, they were likely of interest to us in other matters. In particular, they could be individuals involved in illegal mercenary activities. But this is merely operational information,” the Prime Minister stated.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia reported that a criminal case had been initiated regarding a video containing threats and insults directed at Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. According to the Investigative Committee, an investigation is underway concerning the preparation for murder, committing computer sabotage, and the illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition by a group of individuals.
In the video that circulated online on May 18, a group of masked and armed individuals made threats and insults aimed at the Prime Minister.
