Robert Kocharyan's Office Issues Statement on Controversial Audio Recording
This is no longer a moldy oldie; there are people who seem cheap but turn out to be free. This was stated by Bagrat Mikoyan, head of the office of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, in an interview with Factinfo regarding the renewed audio recording by Alen Simonyan, in which someone purportedly asks Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure a smooth exit for Kocharyan from the created situation. This recording had circulated years ago and was denied.
Mikoyan noted that he had previously addressed this recording and does not see a need to revisit it. It’s worth mentioning that Robert Kocharyan had earlier labeled such fake recordings as filthy and cheap fakes. Additionally, earlier, during a campaign rally, Nikol Pashinyan referred to the mentioned recording, stating, 'Kocharyan's recording is original; I guarantee it.'
