Greenland Issue Worries Me, Says Donald Tusk
Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk has stated that he considers himself one of the most pro-American political figures in Europe, but at the same time, he has not hidden his concerns regarding the situation surrounding the Greenland issue. According to him, this topic, along with certain processes occurring in the United States, creates political and ideological tension.
Tusk noted that Poland has been a reliable and loyal ally of the United States for many years. In his assessment, in such relationships, it is important not only to provide support but also to maintain open and honest communication between partners.
The Prime Minister emphasized that in the context of being allies, a politician must not shy away from clearly expressing their position. He highlighted that close relationships also imply that the parties can freely state what they agree with and what concerns them.
Donald Tusk added that any development that creates tension, whether in foreign policy or internal ideological processes, should be discussed between partners in an open format to maintain mutual trust.
