Black Ice in Places: Situation on Roads in Armenia

As of January 7 at 17:00, there are places of black ice reported on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Tumanyan, Tashir, Sevan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Artik, Ashotik, Amassia, and Vanadzor. The Road Department has informed about this.

"All interstate and republican significance roads are open. Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and treatment works with salt and sand on the roads. Dear drivers, we urge you to be cautious, strictly adhere to traffic regulations, and drive exclusively with winter tires," the report states.
